Morning Devotional with Kostel Jinak: This is a time to get all the Christians together to open the Bible, pray for students and each other, as well as worship together at the beginning of each day.
Breakfast: We get to have meals with our Czech friends! Typical breakfasts include meat, cheese, bread, and fresh veggies.
English Class: After a small break after breakfast, the rest of the morning is spent teaching English. Pray for us that we would be wise and thoughtful teachers, encouraging students as they learn. This is also a great time for us to be building relationships.
Lunch: Our whole camp (about 75 people) eats together. A lot of bread, potatoes, soups, and meats.
Team Meeting: During camp, we don't get much time together as a team because our greater focus is seeking relationships with Czechs. We'll spend time encouraging each other, praying, and sharing how things are going. This is a short reprieve for our team, and a chance to get on the same page for the day ahead. Pray for this to be a sweet time together.
Afternoon Workshops and Sports: Our students will be playing sports and games to form friendships. They'll also be putting on a number of workshops that students can sign up for and participate in.
Dinner: Everyone hopes for fruit dumplings or schnitzel. We wish we could share it with you all.
Evening program: Every night this will include icebreaker games, camp songs, the camp dance, hearing testimonies of God saving us, and an evening talk about Jesus.
Discussion Groups: This is a chance to go deeper and have spiritual conversations. We reference the testimonies and talks that were shared, and ask what our Czech friends believe about God, the world, good and evil, etc.
Evening Activities: Depending on the day we could be doing Minute to Win It games, man night and girls' night, a big camp-wide night game, or having a camp fire!
Lights Out: Time for us to get some much needed sleep. Pray we stay rested - the days can be long and the work can be tiring. Pray that we remain joyful and thankful, and others-focused.
